Let’s add Elliot Lake to the millions world-wide who will be, one at a time, taking a small step to save our climate.

Earth Hour began in 2007 in Sydney, Australia with 2.2 million people shutting off their lights, TVs, radios, computers, etc for 60 minutes. In 2008 it spread world wide with 50 million people in 370 cities and towns in 35 countries taking part.
Join us at Brunswick Walk for an hour walk around town ending at Tim Horton's

or

Just shut off your lights for one hour

and add your name to the millions who have already signed up at http://www.earthhour.org/canada

This link will also give you some important information on how to participate in Earth Hour.

Earth Hour is one symbolic way to highlight our need to conserve energy and the concerns of Climate Change. Earth Hour also shows politicians that we are concerned with what is happening to our world.
