Christmas Bird Count
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Christmas Bird Count and to the Penokean Hills Field Naturalists for sponsoring it again this year. To the left are the results for this year and last as well as the Bird Count in Massey. Thank you to Erwin Meissner for providing us with the results from Massey. It is interesting to look at the difference in numbers and species seen between Elliot Lake and Massey, a short distance away and also between December 2007 and 2008.
